GaoLeshi polyurethane honeycomb filter sponge (also called reticulated foam or blast foam) is produced by a controlled blast process that removes the membranes between cells, leaving a three-dimensional skeletal structure with an open-cell ratio above 95%. It breathes, passes water freely, resists tearing and can be rinsed and reused many times. It is the standard base media for air filtration, water filtration, spray booths, dust collection and acoustic treatment.

- What is reticulated / blast foam?
- Standard open-cell foam goes through a controlled blast process that removes the thin membranes between cells, leaving a three-dimensional skeletal structure with an open-cell ratio above 95%. It breathes, passes water, resists tearing and can be reused after rinsing.
- Why choose reticulated foam over ordinary foam?
- Ordinary open-cell foam keeps most cell membranes intact, so it restricts flow and clogs easily. Reticulated foam removes those membranes, giving far higher permeability and lower pressure drop at the same thickness.
- What PPI should I use for my application?
- 10-20 PPI for high-flow pre-filtration and spray booth intake; 30-45 PPI for general air and water filtration; 60-100 PPI for fine filtration and high dust-holding capacity.
- Can it be washed and reused?
- Yes. Rinse with clean water or blow out with compressed air and it returns to near-original permeability, which cuts replacement cost significantly.
- Do you offer flame-retardant grades?
- Yes, UL94 flame-retardant grades are available, and SGS or ROHS test reports can be provided for the relevant grades.
- What is the MOQ and lead time?
